- Coated Vicryl Plus antibacterial (polyglactin 910) sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, except for ophthalmic, cardiovascular and neurological tissues
- Coated Vicryl Plus sutures provide multiple benefits, including predictable breaking strength retention (BSR) profile to provide support for 14 to 28 days while tissues heal
- Shown in vitro to kill bacteria and inhibit bacterial colonization of the suture
- Proprietary suture coating and polymer properties minimize drag force and elicit only a slight tissue reaction during absorption
