Recommended usage
Drink directly
Through feeding tube
Mixed with other beverages
Shake well. Take 1/2–1 fluid ounce (15–30 mL) by mouth or mix with any hot or cold beverage or food. Slowly increase to reach 1–3 times per day, as needed. If using laxatives, gradually discontinue them after satisfactory bowel function. It is important to increase fluid intake with increased dietary fiber.
Feeding tube use: Infuse via syringe through feeding tube. Flush with at least 30 mL of water both before and after use. Continue tube feeding as prescribed. Do not mix with tube feeding formula.
