It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on areas with fragile skin
Helps minimize pain and trauma of dressing changes; won't adhere to moist wounds
Protects skin from damaging leaks and maceration
Mesh structure allows exudate to pass into absorbent dressing and allows delivery of topical treatments
Transparency allows assessment of healing progress; can remain in place for up to 14 days
